Eigentlich sollte das Schiff als Fisch-Restaurant genutzt werden,
allerdings wurde dafür keine Genehmigung erteilt.

Das Feuerschiff wurde heute an einen neuen Eigner verkauft: Jeff
de Wolf. Voraussichtlich wir es für die nächsten 3 Jahre
noch an seinem bisherigen Liegeplatz bleiben und dann zum Wohnschiff
der Eignerfamilie umgebaut. Das Besondere an diesem Schiff ist,
dass noch alles im Originalzustand erhalten ist. In den Mannschaftsunterkünften
findet man sogar noch die Rettungswesten der Crew. Später
wird über das Schiff eine Internet-Seite unter www.lightship12.com
erstellt. Noch etwas über den neuen Eigner: Jeff de Wolf
arbeitet als Kreativer in der Werbebranche und ist in erster Linie
ein echter Feuerschifffreak. Mit drei Freunden zusammen besitzt
er bereits LV94, welches heute als Event-Center in Nord-Amersterdam
genutzt wird.
On the first of juli the lv-12 has been sold to a new owner:
Jeff de Wolf. The ship will stay on its current place for at least
the next 3 years, and after that, it will be relocated at a new
location and converted into a home for the family of the new owner.
The condition of the ship is reasonably well. Unique about the
ship is that everything, apart from the interiour of the deckhouse,
is still complete and intact. Even in the rooms of the crew the
life-vests can be found. Later on this year there will be a website
about the LV-12 under the name: Lightship12.com Something about
the owner: Jeff de Wolf is a creative working in advertising and
above off all a lightship freak, with 3 other friends he already
bought the LV-94 which is nowdays used as a event-center.The LV-94
is as well located in the north of Amsterdam.
