1974-1995 Decommissioned and sold to Taylor Woodrow Maritime Heritage Site, St. Katherines Dock in London, renamed NORE, used as office

1996 sold to a private owner, who uses it as a residential ship in Port Werburgh Marina in Hoo near Rochester at the river Medway

I am looking for more information about the history of the ship. There are hints that the ship had been built 1931 or 1936. Which is right?
