To commemorate the anniversary of the tragic sinking of the German lightship ELBE 1 on the 27th of October 1936, the Lighthouse Duo from England has issued a commemorative cover.

A limited edition of 12 covers with a picture of the lightvessel and the board stamp of Elbe 1. The covers are signed by Herrn Otto Prieß, Light Ships Carpenter and Honorary Chairman Feuerschiff-Verein ELBE 1 von 2001 e.V.

The money raised went to Feuerschiff-Verein ELBE 1 von 2001 e.V. to help with their continued efforts.

To celebrate the opening of the ships post office on the German Lightship FEHMARNBELT, the Lighthouse Duo from England has issued a new cover.

The limited edition of 100 covers shows a picture of the lightvessel and the new postmark. They are signed by Mr. Christoph Rüdiger, the Chairman of "Feuerschiff für Lübeck e. V.".

The money raised went to "Feuerschiff für Lübeck e.V." to help with their continued efforts.
