This list contains all known lightships that are preserved up to today,
regardless of wether they were preserved as museum ships and open to the public
or are rebuilt to be a restaurant ship, residential ship, club home or even a church ship.

A complete overview of lightships from all over the world can be found under
"Lightships around the world" - for example an overview of lightships rebuilt
as sailing ships will be found under "Rebuilt lightships".
