January 6th, 2010 LV21 moored at Gillingham pier in Medway
The former English lightvessel LV 21 was retired from service in 2008 and offered for sale by Trinity House in 2009. It was acquired by Gary Weston and Päivi Seppälä the same year and towed to Medway in December 2009, where it is moored at the Gillingham pier today. As soon as the initial renovation work is complete it will be transformed into a floating cultural facility designed to provide a range of services promoting and supporting the creative industries in the Medway area and beyond. Good luck for your project, Gary!
January 1st, 2010 A very Happy New Year 2010 to all visitors and friends of my lightship webpages!
